Hello,

This is my first post and I want to say thank you in advance for helping me and thanks for the great pin on the "first phase" of cleaning this out! I have tried all the steps listed previously (Clean up!, Ad-Aware,Ewido,cws shredder,etc,etc and I actually thought I was rid of that damned Winfixer 2005 pop up, but nope, it just came back recently. Now, it doesn't seem to pop up as often as before, but it still pops up. In addition, I sometimes get an ad for Antivirus Pro 2005 and Anti Spyware 2005 that pops up too. I am running Win XP on a Pentium 4, 1.8ghz machine. Here is my hijack this log: Thanks again for any help!

• Empty Recycle Bins
• Delete Cookies
• Delete Prefetch files
• Cleanup! All Users

Click OK
Press the CleanUp! button to start the program.

Then, please run this online virus scan: ActiveScan

Copy the results of the ActiveScan and paste them here along with a new HiJackThis log and the vundofix.txt file from the vundofix folder into this topic.

Thanks so much for the quick reply!!! You guys really are amazing. I have posted the new hijack this log and vundo log below. I tried to run the active scan but everytime it got to the c:\WINDOWS\system32\ntdll.dll file it hung up and I had to ctrl-alt-del the thing to close it out. Hopefully this isn't a sign of another problem. Well, thanks again for helping me with this and here are the reports:
