just reformatted my computer and got a fresh copy of norton systme works... how do i get past the activation, doing it leglly wont work for me (i bought this second hand off someone at bentleigh market) i managed to get a keygen, it requires a phone rego code, i managed to obtain one through numerous online searches, with the rego code i get an activation code, which has a different number of characters from the serial number... where do i put the activation code, or is there any other way to get around activation.....

What do you mean by "doing it legally" ?? Did you not get the key code with the Norton cd??

If not, what you are asking is illegal as it is the key code that makes the install legal NOT having the cd itself..

i got a key code wit the cd but it isnt working.... so im not sure what else can be done

Since that particular key code has already been used (original install of Norton), you will probably have to call Symantec, explain the situation and have them set it at their end..

To do it any other way (get from from the net) is illegal and we won't help you there at all..

I would have thought someone in GeekU would have known that!!!
