Hey,

How do you create your own chatroom with java or flash8?

I really want to design a chatroom for my site!

I know a bit about java but not that much!

I know a lot on flash, so is it possible to make a .swf chat room?

And would the .swf chatroom need to be linked to a mysql database?

Ok, i will have a look at them tutorials tomorrow because im busy with logo design right now.

And i want it to be 1 swf file that refers to php / mysql database? Will this be ok?

And, do the tutorial scripts have a member login where people register? Or can they just type in any username to enter the chatroom and leave when they want?

I want it so that people can just type a username and enter?

Is this ok?

Ive had a look at both tutorials, but can you tell me...

1) What one is better, the kirupa or ezine?

2) Which one will be more easier to update?

3) Are they both real chatrooms?

4) With the kirupa one, do people just enter a username then enter and leave when they want?

5) Can you add stuff like multiplayer games to your chatroom?

Could you answer these asap?

Thanks! :tazz: :)
