I had the realsearch/69sexsearch virus (but it's gone now... I hope!!) & now the volume on my PC is gone. Can u help? :tazz:

check the settings in your souncard's control panel (possibly listed in Start - All Programs). Check that none of the outputs have been muted, including the Master Volume, Wave Output, etc. If you have a speaker icon in the system-tray, right-click and choose Properties should open it's settings.

Thanks 4 the advice, but that wasn't it. I went to Sounds & it says that I have no audio devices. What should I do next? :tazz:

re-install the soundcard driver software if poss. Did you get a separate CD with the system that let's you restore the default system drivers/applications?
Or use the recovery disc and choose the repair option from the menu if it gives you that option.
