java codes & bios missing

I am no longer able to use any java programs.
I get "java not found or not working" when I log onto games . :tazz:

So I reinstalled. still no luck.
I ran a windows scan and it said I dont have any java bois or script. Can I download these from somewhere? If so where? I am running windows xp. I am not very computer savy! please help before I fix it with a hammer. Ha Ha Ha.
