Hello, I first started a thread over on the malware forum because I thought I was infected but not it seems to be a possible hardware / cooling problem. Sometimes during scans when the fans gets going loud the computer will just turnoff. Sometimes it will stay up all night not doing anything. I still have weird software issues but I'm not sure if is related to the cooling problem or not. The laptop is a Jetta 7055 it looks like ( sticker on bottom is half rubbed off). Anyone have any input on what I can try next? Here is the url to the thread on the malware forum for more info. http://www.geekstogo...0&gopid=446917
