I have just managed to install the Netgear wireless PCI adapter card and successfully installed the software but I keep getting the following message "the software for this device is now installed but may not work properly. This device cannot start (code 10)". Therefore I cannot complete the installation through the network configuration utility and the WPN311 (the device) system tray icon is not appearing, as promised, on the lower right portion of the windows task bar.

Once I manage this I will be installing the Netgear wireless router. It should be in this order, should it not?
Please help.... I am at my wits ends.

Regards :tazz:

Means it's got the wrong driver for it. Therefore to prevent damage Windows won't allow the device to be be used.

Put the CD in the drive, click on Update Driver in the Device Manager for this device and tell it to search the CD.

As for the router - you should be able to set this up by plugging a network cable into it, doesn't have to be done wirelessly.
