Download and run CWShredder from:
http://www.intermute...r_download.html
Use the Fix button.

Check the items listed below in HijackThis, close all windows except HijackThis and click Fix checked:

O2 - BHO: ZIBho Class - {029CA12C-89C1-46a7-A3C7-82F2F98635CB} - C:\Program Files\Kontiki\bin\bh309190.dll

O2 - BHO: (no name) - {FDD3B846-8D59-4ffb-8758-209B6AD74ACC} - (no file)
O3 - Toolbar: (no name) - {E0E899AB-F487-11D5-8D29-0050BA6940E3} - (no file)

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [P2P Networking] C:\WINNT\System32\P2P Networking\P2P Networking.exe /AUTOSTART

O8 - Extra context menu item: Download All by FlashGet - C:\Program Files\FlashGet\jc_all.htm
O8 - Extra context menu item: Download using FlashGet - C:\Program Files\FlashGet\jc_link.htm

O9 - Extra button: PartyPoker.com - {B7FE5D70-9AA2-40F1-9C6B-12A255F085E1} - C:\Program Files\PartyPoker\IEExtension.dll
O9 - Extra 'Tools' menuitem: PartyPoker.com - {B7FE5D70-9AA2-40F1-9C6B-12A255F085E1} - C:\Program Files\PartyPoker\IEExtension.dll

O16 - DPF: {F5192746-22D6-41BD-9D2D-1E75D14FBD3C} - http://download.rfwn...m/cab/dlexe.CAB

Reboot into safe mode and delete:
C:\Program Files\PartyPoker <= entire folder

Also I would like to know if you have some program (besides IE itself) that could be blocking popups.

Regards,

Pieter

IE still closes and my aol closes when I try to open it. I have to click on it like 3 times to get it to finally open and it only does it at start-up.

Can you try without Filtergate and let us know?

This behavior sounds as if it is treating you opening browser windows as if they were "unwanted" (popups)
That is why I would like to know what happens without it.

Could you recommned a better Popup Blocker I should d/l

1. A better browser: FireFox. It has a built-in pop-up blocker. I haven't seen a pop-up ad in months.

2. For Internet Explorer, try the free Google Toolbar. It has many nice features, including a pop-up blocker.

3. SP2 updates Internet Explorer to include a pop-up blocker. Are you sure you still need one? :tazz:

That might be exactly the problem. SP2 installed, so probably using two at a time. :tazz:

Glad we could help. ;)

Yeah IE has the popup blocker but it puts that INfo bar on the top of the browser and it's annoying. So I think i'll try either the google or just d/l firefox. My system hasn't run better though since I bought it so i'm pretty happy with the stuff u guys recommended me to d/l. Thanx again.

Thanx,
