you should be ok. just install a good firewall and anti-virus.

Depending on how your internet cafe is set up, you should be fine with XP Home.
If it's just in a nutshell a whole bunch of computers connected to a router and a few switches, then that's more then sufficient (though one [bleep] of a meaty connection could be needed depending on policies, etc).
