:tazz:

Like everyone else, I was infected with Winfixer (a plague on all their houses!).

I found this fabulous site: blifaloo.com/info/virus_removal.php, who took me step by step in cleaning my computer and who also led me to this wonderful site.

When it came to TrojanHunter step, it found the following files:
C:\windows\system32\geebb.dll
windows Registry
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\geeb.dll

Spyware:spyware/Virtumonde.111

When I tried to clean it, it said that it is being used by another program and could not clear it. Grrr. Ive been at this for 3 hours now.

I tried to do a HijackThis log to post here, but everytime I register and then try it tells me that I am not allowed.

Is there some amazing person out there who can help me with this? I just want to play City of Villians without the ridiculous lag time!! Please note that I am not very computer saavy, so if it could be explained in laymans terms I would be eternally grateful!

Thank you so much,
Tee

Hello, Tawanda.

Download and run the following HijackThis autoinstall program from Here . Please choose the default location of C:\Program Files\ as the destination. HJT needs to be in its own folder so that the program itself isn't deleted by accident

Run HijackThis

Click SCAN and SAVE LOG. (a notepad window will open with the log in it when you click Save Log) (Ctrl-A to'select all', Ctrl-C to 'copy')

POST the log into this thread using 'Add Reply' (Ctrl-V to 'paste')

See if it still says you arn't allowed.
