I installed the demo alright. It said to install Direct X 9.0c or higher and I did. When I tried to play the demo it would not let me and a message appeared saying, "Fatal Error, Error during initalization: Video card or driver doesn't support alpha blending. What should I do and where is the problem coming from; could I fix it by downloading something from the internet or would I have to buy something?

Hello jekrunner and welcome to Geeks to go!

You can download drivers from your graphics card manufacturers website, it would should would fix the problem but that depends on what graphics card your actually have.

For the people here to help you we need to know what graphics card you have or the make and model of your PC.

If your struggling to find out, download and run Belarc Advisor. A few minutes after you've run it, a report will be displayed post that report here.
