So, I'm trying to install this CD-ROM of magazines my mom bought on her computer, and when I put the CD in, it should have started up with the installation thing, but I got a message about aurtoexec.nt, blah, blah, blah. I downloaded that one program to fix that problem, and fix it it did, but then I got another message that said the installation could not proceed because I was missing "SHELL.DLL" - whatever that is - and that I some DLLs were either missing or corrupt. So, what do I do?

All right, I went to that site, downloaded shell.dll, and it said that the file was corrupt. So, just for kicks and giggles, I downloaded the one under it, shell16x.dll, but that wasn't any help. I Googled "download shell.dll" and I went to another site, dll-files.com, and downloaded shell.dll. Well, this one was successful, but when I open up the CD, it still says I'm missing shell.dll. What's up with that?
