i was searching the internet and all of a suden a box popped up saying i was infected with a virus and then a psguard popped up and started scanning my computer or so it seemed. i didn't install it or anything and then i found out it was a virus of some sort. i keep uninstalling it but it keeps reinstalling it self and i need help on how to get rid of it completely so it doesn't keep coming back. and also right after that my macafee virus scan started saying that my c:\windows\system32\wininet.dll was infected with the w32/alemod.f.dll virus and that it couldn't be cleaned. i would really appreciate some help on how to get these things out of my computer or get them fixed. i know alot about computers but never had to deal with a virus before so i have no idea what to do. if anyone has any ideas i am all ears and thank you for your time. :tazz:

Please Click here!, and follow the recommendations in the guide.

If you're still having trouble, We'll need you to use a free diagnostic tool, Hijack This. Follow the instructions in step five of this guide, and reply here with your log.

Most of what Hijack This lists lists will be harmless or even essential, DO NOT delete or modify anything yet! Someone will be along to tell you what steps to take after you post the contents of the scan results.
