Can anyone shed any light on this. I have just bought an Ipod v5 30gb. My operating system is windows xp with service pack 2. I don't much in the way of extra software added. When I try to load the ipod software it completely wipes out the CD/DVD drive (which was the D drive but I have tried elsewhere) the drivers remain but i am told that no hardware is installed. When I restore the computer it returns. Neither apple nor software support will accpet this problem exists.
Anyone?
