I am working on a computer and there was obviously stuff installed that should not have been on it. The person who uses it noticed WinFixer a few days ago. I ran Ad-Aware, CWshredder and Spybot. I used Trend Housecall for the on-line scan and Windows is up-to-date. Spybot found a lot of stuff and things are working much better but the WinFixer icon is still on the desktop. It is no longer running in the taskbar but I am still concerned that things didn't totally get cleaned. Can you please advise?
