I have made a folder on my desktop to download programs fron the Internet or Disks. I have tried to delete some of the them but I get a windows message that Windows Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. Then I get another stating that Dr. Watson Postmorton Debugger has also encountered a problem and needs to close. After that my computer freezes up and I have to "Ctrl-Alt-Delete" to get out and shut down folder.

I have run AV and Spyware, nothing has been found. I have also tried to remove programs from folder in safe mode and same problem occurs. I have also tried to delete folder from desktop with same results. I would appreciate any help.

Please go to the malware forum in my signature and follow the instructions at the top....Especially the CLICK HERE .

That will give you several steps that will help you clean up 70 percent of all problems by yourself. If at the end of the process you are still having difficulty--and you may not be-- then post a hijackthis log in THAT forum.

If you are still having problems after getting a clean bill of health from the malware expert, please return to this thread.
