btw, since im at this, any recommendations for updates? right now im trying to reduce the lag when im playing the game diablo 2... i normally open up to 8 clients for it, and it lags... i believe my graphic card should not be a problem?
and also, if a 256-512 combination does clash, wad exactly will happen? one of them will get burned?
thx =)

This mobo uses the VIA KM266 chipset. This means there is no dual-channel mode, and no advantage to using paired memory sticks. You can add 256, 512, or any combination of memory you want.

Shouldn't cause any trouble. As always, use quality RAM.

Don't buy the cheapest RAM you can find. Stick with brand names, from reputable sources.how else can i ensure that its of a good quality...

hmm, but they are mostly in the same region... 150-180 bucks for a 512 ram... since im gonna go to this centre where theres hundreds of shop selling rams...
btw, is there anything that i need to let the seller know regarding which type of ram i should purchase?
or do i just need to tell him 512 ddr ram for pc2700 ? do i need to let him know the motherboard im using as well?
thx =)
