After killing pccillin, microsoft's firewall, and booting into safe mode, I ran vundofix. I checked and supposedly removed
O2 - BHO: MSEvents Object - {FC148228-87E1-4D00-AC06-58DCAA52A4D1} - C:\WINNT\System32\vtsqq.dll and
O20 - Winlogon Notify: vtsqq - C:\WINNT\System32\vtsqq.dll
Next I exitted and rebooted ran the cleanup, the last scan program suggest did not run b/c of lack of ActiveX something or other. I thought ActiveX could be associated with spyware? When I reboot and scan using hijackthis the two vtsqq.dll entries reoccur. I don't know if I need to kill some other processes, remove restore points, cleaning under the wrong user, or what? This is a real headache!
Please Help. Thanks
