hey guys, i'm looking to get a few ups for my comp. i'm looking for a gig of RAM, a faster processor, and maybe a new mobo (if one is needed).

here is what i have now:

ABit NF7 mobo
512mb Geil RAM (PC3200)
AMD Athalon 1.8ghz processor

my room mate back in school helped me build this. well i didn't do much besides buying it all, so my knowledge about computer stuff is limited. any and all help is appreciated.

probably 90% gaming. i'd like to have something than can keep up with any game out there.

That would take a considerable amount of money what kind of budget are you looking at.

i got about a grand i'm willing to part with.

i'm the kind of person that would rather spend the extra money the first time so i'm not buying a replacement a few months down the road.
