USB ports not working/not recognised by computer

Hi. For the last several months, my USB ports, CDrom and Memory card slots/drivers have either not worked or my computer simply isn't recognizing them. I have no idea what to do or what caused the problem. I was told by helpers in the Chat to post here, so, here I am.

EDIT: A friend recomended installing/downloading the drivers again. Didn't work.
