My LAN connection has been crashed!

This is probably due to some sort of virus. It damage the LAN controller or something like that. The ADSL modem is working fine with other computer, but once connected to the main computer, it does not work.

Although the Ethernet cable is well connected, I get a message "LAN disconnected". Very strange. Any ideas???
