heres my situation

I get a popup bubble every 10 or so seconds off my task bar saying

Your Computer is Infected!
Windows has detected spyware infection.
It is recommended to use special anitpsyware tools to prevent data loss.
windows will now download and install the most up-to-date antispyware for you.
click here to protect you conmputer from spyware.

Also, when i open internet explorer, my homepage is set to "updateyoursystem.com" and sometimes i get an error popup.

And they claim to tell me that they know my operating system, ip address and such, which they got all wrong, so i'm not TOO worried.

They all lead to try and sell me SPYAXE...

the processes that are doing this wont stay dead when i close them, and they are:
nvctrl.exe
mssearchnet.exe

I ran ad-aware, it did nothing.

Everytime i try to download hijack this, and other removal programs, the website gets blocked. Then i get a little alert bar saying
"the page you are looking for is blocked by the adaware on your PC. Remove it with Spy Trooper Software. CLICK HERE"
The URL at the top is NOTFOUND404.com

Those are all the details i know, any help will be supremely appreciated.

Okay, last night i got impatient so i found some loopholes, downloaded Hijack This, cleaned nvctrl.exe and mssearchnet.exe by going into safe mode, and used HJT to delete the BHO which was killing my internet explorer.

The only thing left is that every hour or so, my virus scanner picks out a file from C:\windows\system32\1024, and pops up telling me it deleted a trojan...

what luck, it just popped up.
file in folder detected as Type application username
IdF5EX.tmp C:\windows\system32\1024 QDial-43 Trojan winlogon.exe NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM

heres the current HJT log, i read it, but i cant find anything abnormal. Thanks for your help.

Please read these instructions carefully. You may want to print them. Copy the text to a Notepad file and save it to your desktop! We will need the file later.
Be sure to follow ALL instructions!

***

We need to disable your Microsoft AntiSpyware Real-time Protection as it may interfere with the fixes that we need to make.

Open Microsoft AntiSpyware.
Click on Tools, Settings.
In the left pane, click on Real-time Protection.
Under Startup Options uncheck Enable the Microsoft AntiSpyware Security Agents on startup (recommended).
Under Real-time spyware threat protection uncheck Enable real-time spyware threat protection (recommended).
After you uncheck these, click on the Save button and close Microsoft AntiSpyware.
Right click on the Microsoft AntiSpyware icon on the taskbar and select Shutdown Microsoft AntiSpyware.
Reverse the process when you’ve carried out the advise.

***

Please download noahdfear's smitRem.exe©.
Save the file to your desktop. Double click on the file to extract it to it's own folder on the desktop.

***

Please download the trial version of ewido security suite.Install ewido security suite
When installing, under "Additional Options" uncheck "Install background guard" and "Install scan via context menu".

Launch ewido, there should be an icon on your desktop double-click it.
The program will prompt you to update click the OK button

The program will now go to the main screen
You will need to update ewido to the latest definition files. On the left hand side of the main screen click update
Click on Start
The update will start and a progress bar will show the updates being installed.
Once the updates are installed, close Ewido for now.

***

If you have not already installed Ad-Aware SE 1.06, please download and install AdAware SE 1.06.
Check Here on how setup and use it - please make sure you update it first.

***

Download SpyAxe removal tool from the link in PM.
Save it to your desktop.

***

Next, please reboot your computer in Safe Mode by doing the following:
1) Restart your computer
2) After hearing your computer beep once during startup, but before the Windows icon appears, press F8.
3) Instead of Windows loading as normal, a menu should appear
4) Select the first option, to run Windows in Safe Mode.

For additional help in booting into Safe Mode, see the following site:
http://www.pchell.co.../safemode.shtml

***

Open the smitRem folder, then double click the RunThis.bat file to start the tool. Follow the prompts on screen.
Wait for the tool to complete and disk cleanup to finish.
The tool will create a log named smitfiles.txt in the root of your drive, eg; Local Disk C: or partition where your operating system is installed.
Post me the contents of the smitfiles.txt log as you post back.

***

Close all other programs and windows. Double click SpyAxeFix.exe, then click Start to extract the tool to it's own folder.
Open the SpyAxeFix folder and double click the SpyAxeFix.bat to start the tool.
At one point when the tool runs, your taskbar will disappear, and your computer will restart when the tool completes.
A text file will be created in the SpyAxeFix folder.
