I just downloaded an anime episode, and this is not the first time it's happened, but I really want to watch this. How do I install codecs, and furthormore, how do I know which codecs to install. I did a little bit of searching and found a codec packet, but for some reason it's not installing right. =/

What are you trying to view the file with and what type of file is it you want to play, media players worth getting are media player classic or winamp. I watch alot of movies and tv eps and i think i have a media player for pretty much any file so i should be able to point you in the right direction. The K-lite codec pack is also worth trying i dont use it myself because i have every media player software and its dog but it will fix most things.
