I'm using Windows 98 and lately my startup has been really slow. I just got DSL and have installed McAfee 2006 Virus Scan and Personal Firewall. Here are the particluars on my computer: 256MB RAM, 12.7GB Hard Drive and a Pentium III Processor.

I've run my virus scan, Ad-aware, Cleanup and installed WinPatrol to try and disable some of the start-up programs that are sucking up memory.

Here is my Hijack This Log:

If you want the log checked for malware it should include the 023 list and be posted in the malware forum

There is no O23 list. because O23 is a list of Services and there will be no services on Windows 98.

I'll move the log over to the malware area. But assuming it isn't malware, any suggestions for speeding up my startup. Everything works fine once the system is up and running.
