I recently bought a external DVD rom drive for my Mac G4. I learned today that AppleDVD Player wont work with external drives so I downloaded VLC DVD player. I currently have USB 1.1 and the movies are choppy when I play them . How much of a difference will installing USB 2.0 do? Are there any other ways to get the same performance without changing to USB 2.0? :tazz:

I would get an internal dvd drive, they are pretty cheap now. That would be best.
