To Anyone that can Help.. I have a Thinkpad A21m. running windows 2000 Pro. When I try to restart or Shut down it freezes. Everything else works fine..
can anyone help?

do you have an antivirus program installed? if so...what kind?...do you have a startup/shutdown scann turned on?

Thanks for the response.. I have spybot search & Destroy and sygate personal firewall. I am not sure what a shutdown/startup scann is or how to turn it on.
please help
