Hi and welcome to G2G.

Questions first:

Does your friend (same broadband package) live near to you - if yes then the problem is probably not your ISP if he/she lives some way away it may be worth asking your ISP if there are problems and to check out the connection.

Ask your parents to have the phone company run a check on the line to ensure that this is o.k.

Is your AntiVirus up-to-date?

Do you run Adaware / Spybot (or similar)progs regularly?

Has the connection always been slow or is it a recent thing?

Go here run a speed check and post result: http://www.bandwidth....com/speedtest/

Please go Here and download the newest version 1.99.1. Please be sure to save it to a permanent directory, such as C:\Prgram Files\HJT.

now open the program. and on the first screen click the do nothing...just start program (i think that's what it says) button.

now click the config button, them Misc. tools. then generate startup list...please post that list here.

that's not the list i wanted but...it does help...you are infected with some malware...
Please go to the malware forum in my signature and follow the instructions at the top....Especially the CLICK HERE .

That will give you several steps that will help you clean up 70 percent of all problems by yourself. If at the end of the process you are still having difficulty--and you may not be-- then post a hijackthis log in THAT forum.

If you are still having problems after getting a clean bill of health from the malware expert, please return to this thread.
