BF2 is a resource hog. Right i just played a bit of both tonight and i will give a definitve answer.

drum roll

Call of Duty 2 is a much much better game, BF2 is good but its not the funnest of games. CoD2 is a much more fun game and the gfx are better on it and it runs better it also has lots of videos from the history channel to watch. There is also as good an online CoD community as there is a Battlefield community so CoD2 would be my reccomendation.

BF2 requires a lot of RAM, it works best with 2GB! It also has some pretty steep video card and system requirements, but if you have the right system -- it looks awesome. Both great games. :tazz:

It doesn't require 2GB of RAM, but that will allow it to load all the textures. It was just an example of the type of system this game works best with.

CoD2 is a better game because it has more of a story to it i feel, you play it as if you were part of one of the docu dramas or films. And it has good SP and MP play.

Grandparents and games, make sure she doesnt pick up call of duty one or an expansion pack for it, parents and grandparents almost inevitably buy the wrong game.
