Hi, i really need help to remove spyware and maybe malicious programmes. It all started a few days ago when i was browsing the internet. Pop ups appeared, and then from that point my pc is so slow - and just recently within the past hour the "Your computer is infected" balloon has appeared. When i click it, it leads me to Spyaxe.exe which ive heard is related to spyware infections.

I don't know where to start :

I currently use:

Spybot search and destroy
Ad-aware
zonealarm firewall
avg free virus protection

I am currently running spybot again to remove these items it has found but i fear that there are more programmes runnin in the background of my computer, and i thought i would turn to other people 4 help. Dear god this pop up balloon is annoying me ! Anyway...

If you want me to run applications and post results here then i will - just ask and give me the instructions ( btw just that second spyaxe.exe just appeared again )

I need help to get rid of these unwanted pests ! Thanks in advance :tazz:

Hope to hear from you guys soon

Ok spybot found 70 problems and only managed to fix 58 of these - 12 it could not

It gave the reason "some couldn't be fixed : reason could be these files are still in use ( in memory ) "
Restart to try again

It restarted and managed to delete 1 more

That balloon is still there and i have an icon on my desktop called spyaxe :tazz:

Can anyone help ?? :)

P.s When i click internet explorer it leads me to another site - not my usual homepage - and i keep getting attention spyware on your pc pop ups off the net
