Movie Maker Error

My PC runs Windows XP SP2, and I'm trying to edit some movies in the Movie Maker. The problem is when I try to import video, the program shows an error that says: "An interface has too many methods to fire events from", and, of course I don't know what to do. I think the videos are mpeg2, but I'm not really sure about this. Can anybody help me solve this issue? :tazz:
