Help,

Yesterday i went in to a site for downloading a movie trailer, unfornutely what came whit the download wasn´t the movie but a anti-spyware program that had installed automaticly.

That program said that i had a lot o spywares and if i wanted to get rid of them i would have to buy it, what i didn't do.

Next i´ve run a scan with microsoft anti-spyware and then he said that the program itself is a spyware (pity i don´t remember is name it was spy...something) microsoft anti-spyware has get rid of them.

Then i run a scan again with it and with lavasoft ad-aware and they both said there were no spywares left, but the truth is that i have this in my desktop:

Then i´ve run mcafee anti-spyware it detected about 200 spywares it clean them all but my desktop remains the same, the worst is that no anti-spyware program detects anything now and i can´t get rid of this in control panel in the display tab i can´t change anything it´s blocked with this malicious wallpaper.

What should i do i´ve get spywares before and i always had no troble to get rid of them expect for now.
What should i do?

You have a couple trojans running as well,

Download smitRem.exe (Developed by noahdfear ) and save the file to your desktop.
Double click on the file to extract it to it's own folder on the desktop.

Place a shortcut to Panda ActiveScan on your desktop.

Please download the trial version of Ewido Security Suite here:
http://www.ewido.net/en/download/

Please read Ewido Setup Instructions
Install it, and update the definitions to the newest files. Do NOT run a scan yet.

If you have not already installed Ad-Aware SE 1.06, follow these download and setup instructions, otherwise, check for updates:

Don't run it yet!

Next, please reboot your computer in SafeMode by doing the following:

• Restart your computer
• After hearing your computer beep once during startup, but before the Windows icon appears, press F8.
• Instead of Windows loading as normal, a menu should appear
• Select the first option, to run Windows in Safe Mode.

Now scan with HJT and place a checkmark next to each of the following items:

Make sure all open windows are closed and click on " Fix Checked"


Next,
Open the smitRem folder, then double click the RunThis.bat file to start the tool. Follow the prompts on screen.
Wait for the tool to complete and disk cleanup to finish.

The tool will create a log named smitfiles.txt in the root of your drive, eg; Local Disk C: or partition where your operating system is installed. Please post that log along with all others requested in your next reply.


Open Ad-aware and do a full scan. Remove all it finds.


Run Ewido:

• Click on scanner
• Click on Complete System Scan and the scan will begin.
• NOTE: During some scans with ewido it is finding cases of false positives.
• You will need to step through the process of cleaning files one-by-one.
• If ewido detects a file you KNOW to be legitimate, select none as the action.
• DO NOT select "Perform action on all infections"
• If you are unsure of any entry found select none for now.
• When the scan is finished, click the Save report button at the bottom of the screen.
• Save the report to your desktop

Close Ewido

Next go to Control Panel click Display > Desktop > Customize Desktop > Web > Uncheck "Security Info" if present.

Reboot back into Windows and click the Panda ActiveScan shortcut, then do a full system scan. Make sure the autoclean box is checked!
Save the scan log and post it along with a new HijackThis Log, the contents of the smitfiles.txt log and the Ewido Log by using Add Reply.
Let us know if any problems persist.

I made all you´ve said except the panda scan, i made it with Norton and everything went ok, I didn´t made the spyware scan with ad-aware professional, don't take me wrong but i had this before and then unnistall it because it didn´t descovered things that mcafee or xoftspy founds.

The lattachement are here and i think my cpu it´s fine now , thanks for the ewido it looks really good unfortunatelly it´s not a livetime freeware pity really .

I don´t know if there´s steel something wrong, i think not, maybe if you see the files you can find something that i don´t, hope not .

Could you post back a fresh HJT log please,
And did you save the report.txt from Ewido ? I would like to see that if possible.

Ad-aware will find things other programs will not, Same goes for mcafee most of these programs we recommend compliment each other, We have had great success with running Ad-aware as part of the cleaning process,


Same with Panda it identifies certain files that we need to see if they have been cleaned or not it would be helpful to see the scan log from Panda as well please

Please use the following suggestion to help prevent reinfection


Download the following program, For keeping crap off your system to begin with
Prevent the installation of ActiveX-based spyware, adware, browser hijackers, dialers, and other potentially unwanted pests. Block spyware/tracking cookies in Internet Explorer and Mozilla/Firefox. Restrict the actions of potentially dangerous sites in Internet Explorer.
Download Spyware Blaster

Keep AD-Aware. and Spybot 1.3 handy, Check them for updates prior to running and run them weekly
Same with your Anti Virus,

For an added check run an online virus scan, you can use one of the 2 below,
TrendMicro's HouseCall
ActiveScan

Be sure and give the Temp folders a cleaning out now and then as well, Make sure after you clean your Temp files to empty out your Recycle bin as well.
Click Start | Run | type in cleanmgr | OK

Let it scan your system for files to remove.

Make sure Temporary Files, Temporary Internet Files, and Recycle Bin are the only things checked.

Press OK to remove them.


Remeber to Check Windows for updates

Probably a good time to create a new restore point See Here for XP
