I ma facing a very disturbing problem. I had a Zone Alarm 55.062.011, installed. Everything was working impeccably. Some montha earlier I got the messages for various important security upgardes and i upgraded each time, from a 55 094 000 to a 60 667 000. Again Everything was fine.
Recently i got the message for another upgrade, which i did. Upgrade to a version 61 737 000.
It installed nicely, I went through the usual reconfiguration process and it was installed without hassels.
But since then no more network.
The network card blinks nicely, the network card driver is installed properly, I've reinstalled the driver. But no results. There is no more Internet access. IE keeps saying "Internet Explorer could not open the search page.". (I am connected to a switch which shares an ADSL connection). When I ping the switch, it pings but the ping results shows as in the attached jpg image.
I've tried deinstalling Zone Alarm, but still even without ZA on the PC, there is no more Internet access.
I have an XP Pro OS.
Please help me out.
