IE Does Nothing

I am hoping someone can help with this problem. IE will not work on my machine for some reason. When I click on the icon, the hourglass comes up for a second or two, then nothing happens. I can access the internet by going through MSN Explorer, but prefer to just click on the IE icon and go. This used to work, but stopped all of the sudden.

Thanks in advance for any help or advice you can offer.

try cleaning out your temporary internet files and cookies. If that doesn't work, try repairing IE: http://www.geekstogo...p?showtopic=251
