Im trying to burn a CD and it keeps telling me to insert a blank disc into the (E:) drive, Even though i have a blank cd in the drive, and ive tried every different brand of CD there is, and yet no result, ive rebooted recently too, even though it did that before i rebooted. any ideas?

Have you tried reinstalling your burning software?
Does it happen with other burning software?

how old is the cd burner? Has it been cleaned lately with a cd-rom cleaner?

i dont know where to find the software as this computer is 2 almost 3 years old

Download CDBurnerXP Pro to see if that works. It's freeware.
