OK this is weird. I have a computer that runs Win98se. I am replacing the HD with a new 250gig Hitachi. Also replacing the OS with XP Home sp-2. The XP disk autoruns, locates HD and starts the setup process. Upon the auto reboot, it frezzes at the logo screen. Thought this could be a hard drive compatibility problem so I went back to the original HD with the same results. Just happen to have a copy of XP Pro sp-1 laying around so I tried that....whatya know...it worked. Problem is, this copy is not kosher, plus I just payed for the legal version of XP Home, sure would like to use it. Anybody got any suggestions?

Thanks,
West
