Hi, i'm trying to install Panda Titanium Antivirus but it says:

Incompatible program detected.
A program has been detected that is incompatible with Panda Titanium Antivirus.
To install Titanium you must first uninstall the following program:

eTrust EZ Antivirus

Now I don't even remember installing EZ Antivirus, just AVG free and I uninstalled that. Any idea why it is saying this?

because maybe you installed it and forgot?

Is it listed in add/remove control panel applet?

Please run a hijackthis log and post it here so we can see what is running in the background

These entries lead me to believe that gerryf was correct in his assumption that you do have Panda installed, or uninstalled it previously but didn't properly uninstall it.

If you reformatted and still have this message. I would advise you to place this question to Panda Forum or technical support. It seems to be a problem specific to Panda and they are most likely to have a solution.

Reformatting your hard drive to fix a software related problem is drastic at best.
As a consumer of Panda you should have gotten free technical support from the get go
