I'm now writing to you on Bill's computer because neither Tutu nor Betsy can access the internet. When I tried to reset the router, no lights flashed, just a couple of minor blinks. I held the button in for two minutes, then figured it had done all it's going to do. I re-connected everything, re-installed the network cards on Tutu and Betsy and re-ran the network wizard and the wireless network setup.
When I run ipconfig on Betsy, here's what I get (REPLY 1):
DNS - nothing
Autoconfiguration IP - 169.254.115.208
Subnet - 255.255.0.0
Default Gateway - nothing
On Tutu:
DNS - nothing
Autoconfig IP - 169.254.32.163
Subnet - 255.255.0.0
Default Gateway - nothing
I had a hard time uniunstalling and re-installing the wireless card on Tutu. When I tried to un-install, Device Manager stopped responding, then when I finally got it uninstalled, I had to "update driver" before it would complete the new installation. Don't know if this means anything.
I seem to be worse off than when I started.
