does anyone know of a program that will moniter your FPS in game

many games include it, just have to enable it ingame. also some drivers/3rd party programs can offer it. For example ati tool works great for this. What games are you playing that you want the fps indicator?

Fraps. It will place the number in any corner of the screen you specify before hand, it runs in your system tray, and when you start a game or any 3d application, or video, it will display your framerate. It can also take screenshots to a folder, and record video in its own avi codec. Plus, its free.
