I downloaded photoshop 3.0 (tryout) and put it on as CD-R disk to put on a laptop. after i installed it i try to open it up and an error message comes up. what am i to do???

Try the following fix from Adobe..

Error: "...failed to start because iaccore.dll was not found" when starting (Photoshop Elements 3.0 tryout on Windows)
