I am using my sisters oldschool Compaq Presario 1675. It was my dads back in the late 90's and he never upgraded it. Now my sister has left me in charge of geting it to work some what decent. All I know is it is only expandable to 192MB. I think I need a 128MB PC100 72-pin stick. I am not sure if that's it for sure. Nor have any clue where to find the darn thing. Any advise on where to find it and what exactly I need would be great. Thank you very much.
Need Memory advise.

Then go to www.crucial.com and do a search for your system there.. They will tell you exactly what you can use..

That's strange because I found it right away.. I don't think you knew what you were searching or how..
You first used the dropdown and selected Compaq right??
Then, you used the dropdown and found Presario Notebooks right??
Then, you used that dropdown and found Presario 1675 right??
Didn't think so..
THIS (<--- click here) is what they recommend!!
If you buy from them it is guaranteed to work or your money back..
