My "All Programs" menu on the Start button will not open when click on. It's not that it will open and nothing is there, nothing happens at all when it's clicked on.

It works fine on other accounts on the same PC

Any Ideas?

Thanks

Hi keegen,
Check whether the folllowing folder exists:
C:\Documents and Settings\XXXXX\Start Menu\Programs
where,
c: is the drive where Windows was installed.
XXXXX is the user account name for which the problem occurs.

Yes the folder is there.

I can find in the registry were it should point to that folder but the value is set at C:\Documents and Settings. When I change the value to point to C:\Documents and Settings\XXXXX\Start Menu\Programs and then restart the system it gets changed back to C:\Documents and Settings.

Thanks for your help
