Hi folks, I'm trying to recover some files that have been accidentally wiped off my drive. I'm using Active@ UNDELETE. Once it provides a list of items you want to recover, you can preview the JPEG files. Some of them come up lovely and I recovered them; but some came up in the preview window in a hex format? And they could be recovered but when I open them there was "drawing failed" in Windows Picture and Fax Viewer.

I attached a capture of the Hex window of JPEG preview, how much can I count on to recover them? What other programs I can use? Thanx.

the files are to far gone for them to be recovered. you are missing the piece of info that contains the code that shows it as a jpeg file thus the hex view.
