Hi all,

Is there a way to stop Windows XP Professional telling me how many unread e-mails I have at the log-on screen? Under the icon I click to sign in, it says I have 68 unread e-mails but these are on my hotmail account (that I don't use) which can only be linked to MSN Messenger 6.2. Surely it shouldn't be linking my log-on account with MSN??

Thanks in advance.

Download and install TweakUI. Run TweakUI and click the [+] to te left of Logon. Select Unread Mail, and uncheck the box labeled Show unread mail on the Welcome Screen. Hope that this helps.
