Hi,

I'm not very experienced with computers and my computer is giving me some problems.

I got a message from Ad-Aware saying that a program was trying to access my registry. I refused it and now I can't open any programs on my computers. It would give me a pop-up menu stating: "Windows cannot open this file." But I can open some programs like MS Office and I can access MyComputer. I cannot even open IE to use the internet but I can open some webpages i saved on my Favourites by clicking the Favourites tab from folders.

When I start up my computer, I get this message about Windows can't open .lnk files. I tried to restore my computer using System Restore but I can't access it from Startup or Control Panels. Can anyone help me restore my computer to thw way it was before?
