laptop screen / graphics prob

bios screens are green with white writing, then when windows XP starts the screen starts rolling??

like an untuned TV with the horizontal hold on the squiff.. i think its an sis graphics card but can't make it out ..

also the log in user box's (where you type) have moving thin red lines going through them???

ok plugged an external monitor in and that works fine.. the graphics card is a sis m661fx

changing the resolution does'nt change anything either, when the windows logo first appears it is stationary, but then starts to scroll.. like its teasing me!!! :tazz:
