Hi

I'm considering upgrading from Windows 98SE to XP and before I do I'd like to know if anyone has experience of doing this and if there are any pitfalls.

One thing I'd like to know before I buy is do all the contents of My Docs stay put while you upgrade or do you have to empty all the folders?

Thank you

if you upgrade correctly...then yes...all of your data should stay where it is...the easiest method for the upgrade is boot up into 98..and insert the xp cd...then choose the option to upgrade....then...just follow the prompts...somewhere through the process it will reboot the machine
