ok my audio is missing all of a sudden i can no longer listen to music or anything i have no volume or sound or anything except an awful bleep noise when i get an error message. when i try to get volume it says "there are no active mixer deviced available." and in order to install them i have to go to control panel, hardware and printers and then click on add hardware but nothing happeneds after that. so i tried dell and they said i had to DL a driver or soemething but everytime it tries to install it says i havean error and have to call "GetClass Devs" what do i do??

Which system and motherboard do you have

You may find the drivers you need with this

Download and install Everest Home Edition

Run the programme, click + next to computer then summary

Look on right for multimedia / audio adapter

Look at the manufacturer’s site for the suitable driver for your Operating System

If you are unable to find it, please post the make and model here before you download anything

Please set a system restore point before you install anything
