My laptop, vaio fxa36, has two LAC icon's one for Cat5 and one for the wireless card. (Orinoco Classic Gold) I want to change the wireless icon so I can tell them apart when making changes to TCIP. I have seen other icons such as one with little waves claiming "this is the wireless connection". Have any of you done this or seen how to do this. I can not find a setting, searched the forum as well. Thanks for the look and the help.

If you already have an icon you want to use and you know the directory, you should be able to right-click on the icon you want to change, choose Properties from the menu selections. You should see a "Change Icon" button in window that pops up. Click the "Browse" button and find directory where the icon you want to use is stored. Select it. You may get a "Insert Disk" box, but just cancel it and the window for browsing will come up.
