How to really remove IE 6.0

Hi i'm tiyok. How can we really remove IE from our pc? i wanna re-install IE. my IE wont do online scan (what d you call it when you click scan online (like kaspersky and trend micro) and another IE come up ? my ie wont do it). i've tried those 2 methods to repair but the problem still exist.
i try add/remove windows component but it only remove access from start menu and desktop icon. please help. :tazz:
