SpyWare or Browser Hijacks shouldn't be a problem for me because I always keep my computer clean. But I had a few friends over last night and they decided to go on some sites and so my computer became infected overnight. It is not as severe as the ones I have seen in this forum, but I have noticed a drop in performance. Here is the Hijack this log that I just ran...

And I just ran that free Housecall virus scan thing, and a scan from LavaSoft's Ad-Aware SE and SpyBot S&D. Help is appreciated.

Hi there,
Please set your system to show all files; see here for how to do this if you're unsure.

The following are mandatory fixes:
Close all programs down, leaving only HijackThis running.
Place a check against the following items:

R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings,ProxyOverride = *.*.*.*;<local>
O2 - BHO: (no name) - {22CC0BBF-CC53-BEDB-2F34-9CDC4F6AB5C4} - C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\UXNCC.DLL
O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [Scor] C:\WINDOWS\Application Data\aatt.exe
O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [Xddxnw] C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\xpgmpde.exe
O16 - DPF: {8EF27A70-DD04-11D6-B7F6-00A0C9CD5F8A} - http://www.quikshield.com/qshsetup.exe

Click on Fix Checked and exit HijackThis.

Reboot into Safe Mode: see here if you don't know how to do this.

Using Windows Explorer, locate the following files/folders, and delete them:

C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\UXNCC.DLL
C:\WINDOWS\Application Data\aatt.exe
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\xpgmpde.exe

Exit Explorer, and reboot as normal afterwards.

Post back a fresh HijackThis log and we'll take another look.
